We are trying to bring out the personality of the character by merging animals and footage from documentaries with the film, similar to how Peter Greenaway did in a few of his movies.

This picture is just an idea of how we can get the faces to match up directly. 
The footage was taken from the documentary In Search of the Jaguar.

We were lucky enough to get a room at the Cadogan Hotel. It was actually the room where Oscar Wilde stayed before getting arrested.

We would like to thank the Cadogan Hotel for their amazing hospitality and letting us film in their hotel.

rough draft of breakdown of scene by scene

chair and side table… if we cant get the day bed
- she then would b underneath her with the dying flowers , crayon on the table

out of focus, slowly goes into focus and camera moves forward to the girl,
"As quickly as you came you left."

camera pauses

sharp clips side of face, top of head as if hovering or standing above, front of face and should be quite close, (jumps to animals face… repeat between every shot) back to her face. she turns to face camera (front) camera is a little father away,

"She lays alone now in her bed sheets made of ice.
Last night they were so warm learning stories of native passion calls & positions
moving so lightly & in motion with the tribe dance of love & lust"

she's not looking directly at the camera holding a valentines day teddybear

*clip of animals doing mating dance (birds)

"Same dance with two different reasons behind…"

close ups of body and hands as they clinch and unclench the sheets.

"they became a threesome in that bed last night.
becoming the supporter, with every piece of fiber & 400 thread count
clenched between fists, trembling fingers & palms."

clip of flowers dying in the rhythm of a heart beat.
"between hips & thighs moving to a rhythm of the mating song."

her face is dramatically close to the camera (extreme closeup) and the camera falls out of focus and quickly back in the proceeds to move backwards away from her.
"but not now, now they cover her body like the chilling truth,"

She gets up and starts to walk. pick up crayon and places teddy bear down.
"as quickly as you came you left"

Hall way: camera is slightly behind her (showing her body until her knee in shot)
she's walkin and dragging the crayon slightly behind her.

"staring at the walls that witnessed the actions of last night.
they were the viewers that caught her become just another body on his list,
watched as he tattooed his name between her hips."

she places her hand against wall and draws her hand with the crayon.
"She holds out her palm and mimics the way she held that wall,
the way it promised to support & the way it was supposed to hold no judgement
against her need to believe his precious whispers of security. "

the crayon line goes from color to black.
she arrives at the staircase
"but as quickly as you came you left."

at the staircase there 2 glasses, one that is laying on the ground with a little bit of wine left. this showing evidence of 2 people from the night before.

"She sips from the champaign glass that he didn't finish
It had lost all of it's original bubble and now only resembled the memory of the fresh thirst quenching alcohol,"

during this she is slowly walking up the steps

"The recollection didn't seem to be as sweet as she remembered
It didn't satisfy her desire, it didn't end her yearning for a powerful body & full spirit
inside her."

she looks down at the food and wine that is at the bottom of the stairs.

"The pathway of her passion yearned to be completed with the intimacy she previously experienced,
as the remembrance of the magic dwindled the sensation for her next fix
became unbearable,"

animal scene here, music, all 3 clips merging in and out of one another

"so as quickly as you left she came
to the realization that she needed to continue this habit to feel completed
cause maybe, just maybe the next climax wont be the same "

she runs into the room and stops suddenly,
all of the flowers have come back to life, the fruit is fresh again, the teddy bear is back to being whole and all lighting has gone peaceful

her head down and curls blocking her face

"and she wont have to say"

quietness and pause

she looks up slowly directly at the camera and smiles
and then she says out loud "as quickly as you came you left"

camera backs away slowly and eventually out of focus

Our Actress/ Model

We chose Naomi as our actress/ model because of her unique looks that captured well on camera. Her height was perfect for us to shoot, being 5'6" she's not to tall which makes it easier for the group to capture different angles without having to use a ladder, etc. Also her voiceover was perfect for the character.

Inspiration

For the look of the film we were inspired by this particular music video. the atmosphere of the video was very in tuned with the assets that we thought our film should mimic.

Poem for narration

The poem was used as a narration for the story line, it captures the eeriness, twisted vulnerability and emphasizes the destructive nature of the characters involved in all three films. 


The poem was edited down to fit better with the timeline of the film.


Girl mistakes physical lust for true love which leaves her feeling exposed, vulnerable, a discontent with her life which is empty with a void. she tries to composite for the lack of love by using her body. the constant lovers that she gives herself to is like a drug, always yearning for another fix cause the high of passion never lasts. she continues this pattern causing her to become self destructive failing to see the era of her ways she continues this process (like a child/knows no better). she's still young at heart so the movie will take place in a dream like atmosphere. it will have items that would be in a child's room playing with the contrasting idea of sex and lust and immaturity and innocence. the lighting which is harsh and flashing would cause her to seem more vulnerable to the viewer, light will show her and her actions for who and what she is which she hasn't come to terms with. She's living in a dream like state but some images, colors and music will play with a sinister nightmare feel.

The story is written in The pathetic fallacy or anthropomorphic fallacy which is the treatment of inanimate objects as if they had human feelings, thought, or sensations.The pathetic fallacy is a special case of the fallacy of reification. The word 'pathetic' in this use is related to 'pathos' or 'empathy' (capability of feeling).

As quickly as you came you left.
